1934 Duesenberg Model J and 2017 Cadillac DPi-V.R win Best in Show honors at The Amelia

The judges have spoken, and the first two automobiles to take the top honors under the re-branded Amelia Island Concours are a 1934 Dusenberg Model J owned by Harry Yeaggy and a 2017 Cadillac DPi-V.R. owned by Wayne Jackson.

The 1934 Counvertible Coupe Dusenberg is a truly remarkable automobile. It was one of the last Duesenberg's built and one of only three made with coachwork by Walker LaGrande. It was custom built for Marjorie Merriweather Post. The world's wealthiest woman and the founder of General Mills. This stunner was restored in 2007 and features only 9,000 original miles. This also marks the third time Yeaggy has won Best of Show at The Amelia.

Wayne Jackson had just come into possession of the 2017 Cadillac DPi-V.R. It was retired early due to Wayne Taylor Racing signing on with Acura. Powered by a 5.5 liter V8, the DPi-V.R. was the overall winner of the 2018 Petit LeMans and the 2019 Rolex 24 at Daytona,
