Famed collector Peter Mullin has passed away

 World renowned collector Peter Mullin passed away on Sept 20th at the age of 83. Mullin was a notable collector, primarily of French automobiles from Southern California. A founding board member of the Petersen Museum, Mullin would go on to create his own museum, the Mullin Automotive Collection in Oxnard, California. 

Mullin was also President of the American Bugatti Club, and his collection was considered the most comprehensive collection of Bugatti automobiles. It is unknown what will happen with the Mullin Automotive Museum in the future. The 46,000 square foot facility in Oxnard is considered one of the best auto museums in the world. 

Peter Mullin is survived by his wife, children and grand children.
